Foundations: the documents a project rests on

Foundations holds the documents behind the understanding: specs, plans, notes and maps, written by agents or by you, organised by topic. The Understanding page is the map of entries; Foundations is the longer writing those entries cite.

What you find there

• The project's authored documents, grouped by the topic they belong to, with the foundational ones first.
• Each document opens in place. An entry on the Understanding page that cites a document links straight here.
• Agents read these when they need depth, and write new ones when a plan or a design deserves more than an entry.

When to use it

When an entry says "why" in one line and you want the whole argument. When you want to read the design before an agent builds it. When you are writing something you want every agent to inherit as a document rather than as an entry: ask an agent to save it here.
