Do I need to install anything? No. ChatGPT, Claude on the web and Claude Desktop connect by pasting one URL. Install Claude Code (one click from Connect) when you want an agent working on your real files, or start the tunnel to give a chat agent access to one folder.

Which agent should I use? Any of them; Naetive is not tied to a model. They all read and write the same understanding, so you can use ChatGPT one day and Claude Code the next and neither starts from zero. Claude Code has the deepest integration: it works on your files directly, reports what it did, and keeps the folder in your repo fresh.

Do my agents run on Naetive's servers? No. Your agent runs under your own Anthropic or OpenAI account, on your machine or in their app. Naetive holds the understanding and the work, and shows you what your agents are doing.

What does "the folder" mean? The understanding, written into your repository as a plain .naetive folder so it travels with the code. See The folder.

Does Naetive read my code? Not by itself. Your agent reads it and writes what it understands, with the file it rests on. Naetive keeps and checks that, and makes no model calls of its own.

What happens to Chats on another computer? The Chats page runs agents on the computer the console is installed on. Your understanding and work are the same everywhere you sign in; a running chat is not.

Is it free? See the pricing page. You pay your AI provider separately; Naetive never sits between you and them.
