Connecting Claude on the web

Claude in the browser (claude.ai) connects to Naetive as a custom connector. One URL, no install. Custom connectors need a paid Claude plan.

Step 1: Add the connector

In claude.ai: Settings, Connectors, Add custom connector. Paste the URL from the Claude on the web row on the Connect page. Your key is inside the URL, so treat it like a password; leave the OAuth fields blank.

Step 2: Check it worked

Start a new chat and ask "What's my current focus?" If it answers with your project, you are connected, and the row on Connect shows as set up.

Files on your machine

Claude on the web cannot see your computer by itself. Start the tunnel inside the project folder (~/.naetive/start-tunnel.sh) and it can read and change that folder through Naetive. See Installing the tunnel.

Add the one-time instruction from Start a project with your AI to a Project's instructions, or paste it at the start of a chat.
